The Arabian-Berber is a horse breed that was created about 1000 years ago by crossing Arabs or thoroughbred Arabs and Berbers. The stud book of the Arabian-Berber is open, i.e. even today both pure breeding and combination breeding is permitted. For the combination breeding, both the breed of the Berbers and the thoroughbred Arabians are permitted.
